I figure that I don't want to skimp quality for my lenses then why skimp on non-genuine accessories? The savings just aren't worth it for myself. And a big thumbs up to having the 500D gripped. Much better feel and balance when the wigma and L are on the front. I own a magical box that captures light!

Almost 2 kg (1.8 to be exact)! That's a tad over 4 pounds for all you yankies I own a magical box that captures light!

My 1D Mark II and 100-400L weigh 1.4kg each for a whopping 2.8kg total or 6 lbs for those who use them. It doesn't feel heavy until I've used it for a few hours, then it seems like pretty good weightlifting exercise. flickr
