Hi. I love shooting HDR using my T1i. I just started on this a couple of weeks ago. This is from last weekend.

Love this one. Looks like a painting almost! I need to learn how to do this!

google Photomatix (easy to use). They have a trial version and step by step stuff at their website.

Can you do stuff like this in Photoshop, DPP, or Lightroom or do you have to have a special HDR program?

I have an itch for more ink and this is like salt in an open wound for me. Love the picture but it's just not fair. Another tattoo or more Canon...HMMMM!?!? :]

I'm in the same boat! I think i want more camera stuff though! LOL

some random shots from today

QUOTED IMAGE

I almost took this same shot today, since the moon was so visible in the daytime! However, taking my 2 and 1/2 year old to the potty every 5 minutes.... Never got outside to make it happen!

haha thanks about the compliments, was just copying what some other people have done haha, but if ya want a link to the flashlight, here it is on amazon

http://www.amazon.com …light-Black/dp/B000KC418A (external link)

its pretty cheap, bright as hell, strong as hell, and 25 dollars! if u need a flashlight and don't mind size much this is a great one in my opinion for cheap! then again i dont really know flashlights much haha

Maglites rule! They are the best flashlights. Nearly indestructable. And you could bludgeon someone to death with one if you had nothing else and were being robbed! LOL

haha ferret, yah I was actually meaning to say "and if you get mugged wherever you are with it you can use it as a weapon!" but forgot, haha sure beats using the tokina 80-200 f/2.8, though honestly that thing is so solid you could probably beat the crap out of someone with it, put it back on the camera, and take good pics still

Thanks for the comment... I think you can do some of this stuff in PS but I haven't tried it. If you want to do HDR's Photomatix is the way to go. To get an idea on how to do this and what tools you need go over to www.stuckincustoms.com (external link) and hit the link for the "HDR Tutorial". In that site you can also see the kind of work Trey does. All excellent.

hey guys im sure this has been gone over a bunch in this thread, but im considering getting a grip for my T1i, and I really don't have the money for a canon manufactured one, so I was looking at a Zeikos or a opteka grip, the zeikos is 70 dollars and comes with 2 batteries, I already have 3, the opteka is 50 dollars and doesn't come with any batteries, ive heard great things about zeikos but what do you guys recommend?

I picked up an Opteka grip with 2 extra higher rated batteries from Amazon for a killer deal at 69.95.

http://www.amazon.com …ics&qid=1267309274&sr=8-3 (external link)

The grip looks and feels great and the batteries seem to last and last. Since you already have the batteries, I can recommend the grip to you as it works really well. Do not know about other third party grips.
