You're making a mistake if you buy consumable like flash card at big box stores IMO.

Try:
www.newegg.com (external link) << US
www.ncix.com (external link) << Canada

I paid $18 Canadian for my 8 gig card.

When we got the one from Best Buy it was part of the package deal that was part of my camera. I have no intention of buying another card from them, they are WAYYYYYY too pricey!

Still practicing with Photomatix and working with HDR images. Here's a couple from our trip to Manatee Park. These 2 I did by adjusting the exposure in Lighroom by a stop either way, as I wasn't even considering HDR when I took these over a month ago, LOL

When doing an HDR, is 3 exposures usually sufficient? Is more better? Is there such a thing as too many different exposures?

Cometz, BEAUTIFUL food pictures! im guessing nifty fifty??

So we shot pretty much all of the scene yesterday and today for romeo and juliet, we are filming the last few lines tomorrow, we have completely updated the scene, if you want an explanation I can give it, if not I will be editing, cutting, and posting the finished scene onto youtube in the next week or so, it looks beautiful thanks to a really really really good tripod and the T1i. There are only a few lines that were done today that the sound got screwed up, there were probably 30 mph gusts of wind today and the camera really did not like that, it was only on one line so it shouldn't be too apparent and i will do my best to cover it, other than that if you plan your location appropriately the audio from the t1i can actually be decent!

haha looks delicious, did you use a flash bounced at all or just the lighting around, whenever i try to use ambient light on my food there's not enough to get decent settings

Some photos I finally got off my camera.

Chose a smaller pic because I'm posting quite a few and don't want to clog up the page.

Nice macro work ecka. Colours really pop and contrast well.

I bought one of those wacom tablets the other day. Mainly to mess around in Elements to make pp a lil more exciting. Tis good fun :)

I've posted this already but I've done some messing around with it...
