50mm @ f/2.8.

Water trickling down the back of a freshly washed window. The drops are bright because of the sun in the background which isn't in the frame! :D

Holy.... love this shot too, Ferret. Looks like something that the band "Tool" would use as art in their albums.

Very cool. It was really a lot of fun to do, and no two will ever be exactly alike!

I hung a mini-maglight from my shower curtain rod with a piece of twine and some tape! I'm innovative, if nothing else! :-) If i get a chance to tonight or tomorrow I'll take a quick snap of my set up with my P&S

Thanks! It's gonna be part of my new logo, I think, LOL. Gotta play with it in photoshop for a bit and see what I can do with it.

anyone with an opteka battery grip out there? what color box did it come in. I ordered mine off amazon and am very pleased with it but something makes me think that i ordered a fake "opteka" grip. the box looked so unprofessional like something I would buy at a flea market.
I also found that the glue work done for the rubber gripping on the device is very poorly put together. I swear my sister could have made a product look more presentable, more the reason im thinking i got screwed??

That looks like a very nice capture PhilF. Great job!

Then since it looks like were posting some abstract stuff with the light. Here is my take on smoke from yesterday. I have a few more posted in a thread called 'smoke art' under Experimental if anyone is interested.

nice pics guys! I have fallen ill to the upgrade bug.... considering trading for a 50D >< I know!!!! I think my dad would kill me though as i have the tendency to buy and sell things and replace quite... quickly.... I think I should just save and wait till this time next year and by then get a 7D, 7DII, or 5DIII if those last two are even out by then

Luke.....I am not your father:lol:, but my best advise is wait until you outgrow your equipment. I, as well, have been plagued with wanting the next best. After buying my T1i, I started thinking that I should have opted for the 50D or 7D. When I was on vacation in NYC I went to B&H for the first time and the Canon salesman gave me alot of great advise. The T1i is a very capable camera, wait until you outgrow it. He talked me out of spending money!! There is plenty of other things to spend money on; wait until you outgrow your equipment.

Canon 7D, T1i, EF 70-200 2.8L II,EF 24-105L, EF-S 18-55mm, EF 28-135, EF-S 55-250mm, EF 85mm 1.8, Sigma 150-500, EF 50mm 1.8
