First shots with the T1i and the kit lens today. I'm anxious to receive my shipment with better lenses!

I'm a complete newbie at photography, studying how the camera auto adjusts. Been doing some experimental shooting in some of the other modes. I'll post those up after the battery is done charging!

Taken in CA mode. 1/60, f/5.0, ISO 500, 42mm focal length

Phil, loving your work. You have clearly learned a lot about lighting. You work looks more professional each time i see it.

My Sigma 10-20 is still easily my favourite lens. Hadn't used it for a while but im hooked again. Dan.... you have one cute kid.

Really nice set of macro shots chitvan, seems like the Sigma 17-70 is a good macro lens. How well it does with landscapes and portraits?

Anyone here using Zeikos grip? I think I will order this one as I read good reviews and the price is great

naw but i do have the Opteka and it is EXCELLENT, great build quality, the rubber quality is better than the actual canon grip!
