I will visit the 7D forum to see your shots.

I just bought the 5DM2 today :D it will be here on Thursday! so I will be posting in the 5D Mark2 thread and here in the T1i thread, I just couldn't part with my T1i I love this camera and feel it will be a good backup for my wife as a second shooter at weddings.

One of my subcontractors (electrician) wife owns a very successful catering and wedding planner business here in Alabama, she was featured in Alabama Wedding Magazine 2010 and Alabama Bridal directory as the top rated wedding planner.
Anyway I went to a wedding they did Saturday and took shots of the cakes, food and table settings for their web page, After receiving them she called me and asked If I would like to featured on their web page. I would kick back a fee for all work.
I'm going to attend and be a second shooter and the next two weddings starting this Sat & Sun for experience then start taking work from her! Please wish me luck as I never really planned to do wedding work but have always been one to roll with whatever comes my way plus wedding photographers make some serious $$

good luck dude.

nice shot, you made me want to go to Disney

Dont leave yet Phil!! lol

I have another shot from the same sitting that had more light on her, your right looking at this image the other does look flat.
This texture process kinda makes the images look a little flatter too.
I applied a couple of textures, blended them, and applied a bleached look to it.

Is anyone's copy made in Taiwan? I had to get mine replaced yesterday and the replacement is made in Taiwan and not Japan. The quality is great. It is actually sharper and exposes better than the one I returned. I called Canon this morning as I was a little concerned. I was worried that they just outsourced the manufacturing of the camera and licensed them to stick Canon's name on it. You know, Like the difference between buy a Michelin tire from Sears and buying one from an actual Tire Dealer. The on from Sears is always made cheaper. Canon assured me that it is the same as the one made in Japan. The just have factories in Taiwan as well.
