Canon T1i user right here!
It's nothing fancy, but a great entry level DSLR. I originally bought it for taking photo through my telescope, but I've since started to really get into photography.

Even though it is entry level it's a very capable camera, keep at it α7ii + (batis 25 f2 / zeiss 55 f1,8 / macro 90 f2,8)

Thanks for the welcome! I dabbled in photography throughout the years. When I got around to completing my college degree later in life (went back to school the week of my 36th birthday!) I found myself really drawn to photography. I loved being in the darkroom and watching images taking shape. With the digital tools we have now the process is much easier to manage, though it still takes skill to get superb results.

paradiddleluke Goldmember 3,594 posts Likes: 108 Joined Nov 2009 Location: Chicago, Illinois More info | Jan 08, 2011 00:02 | #7479 Spanspace, thanks, this was in my "studio" room at my house, which i assure you is not as good as it sounds... its an 8x8' room (no i'm not joking) with a white wall in which I can take head/shoulders, down to waist at lowest shots... anyway, model was essentially right on the wall, I had a Yongnuo YN460-II popping off into a cheetahstand Qbox24 camera right, and a Nikon SB800 popping off camera left through a white sheet to diffuse it a bit for fill, because the model was so close to the wall (so the lighting was as well) I was able to blow the wall out without a separate light on it (cause there is no space) and then using photoshop I essentially painted the wall to full white. (if you tilt your screen to a strong angle you can see a bit of yellowing between the hair strands where I wasn't able to get. Website
