I went to a War Weekend at Elvington Aerodrome (why isn't it spelt Airodrome like Airport?) this weekend and here's a few shots I took. The model Tank in #1 even had an engine sound effect when it moved, #2 is spoilt a little by having a small child in the back in civvies. #3 was actually set up be another tog but hey! why miss an opportunity, #4 looks quite good as an old sepia shot; I did one but decided not to post it here. I have posted #6 already here in another post but I spent a couple of hours taking the barbed wire out of the shot so I don't consider it a multiple posting (have a look at the before and after, it comes after the cars so scroll down https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=691866 ) #7 is the front end of a Mosquito showing the 4 lower cannons, there's another 4 mounted just above them; the 2 inner ones are just out of shot, #8 is pulling a trailer with an old Matchless Motorcycle on; there were quite a number of old British bikes there and they all lived up to their image with pools of old oil under each one LOL!
