But you are good at it. ;) Thanks Chief.

And I hate to bear bad news, but I share the good news with you, so I guess I should share the bad too.

Samantha was brought back to the shelter today. :( The elderly woman who adopted her yesterday said that she doesn't have a fenced yard, so she has to take Samantha out on a leash to go potty, and that she is too shy and won't go in front of anyone.

:( I'm sure that is a workable issue, but understand that it would be hard for an elderly woman to deal with.

It breaks my heart that poor Sam had to go back to the shelter. I'm working on something right now to maybe get her out by Saturday. Keep your fingers crossed.

Bummer! :(

We do too but we understand;). K, just because my drug induced state makes me slow, lets get to the bottom of things here. Are we talking about the sparkley Poopz picture, something I missed, or just a general service announcement?

One of the unfortunate duties we moderators have is the transmogrification of members who post images they don't own. Like so many things, if we don't correct our friends when they do it, we really can't correct ANY member who does it without giving the appearance of being a bit hypocritical.

If you want to post an image that's not your own, please post just a link instead.

Damn. I hate my job sometimes.

Images from icanhascheezburger.com and ihasahotdog.com (those funny dog and cat pics) are encouraged to be reposted by the sites themselves. They even provide the links for people to use to post them on forums.

Same goes for What the Duck comics. Aaron has mentioned many times that anyone is more than welcome to post his comics on forums.

Er, what ...? He's one of those top-secret alien investigator types, isn't he? Wait ... how close is San Antonio to Marfa?

thomascanty wrote in post #7962667 (external link)
He actually works in Area 51. He just wants you to think he works in San Antonio.
Wait... Did I just type that out loud?!?

Guineh wrote in post #7962711 (external link)
Ahhh.. You mean here? (external link) The scary thing is ... all the descriptions now sound plausible. They used to be more nutty...

thomascanty wrote in post #7962774 (external link)
Hmmmm.... When I zoom in I just get a red text box popping up saying "Your IP address has been captured. Please stay where you are. We will be there to arrest you in two minutes."

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
Thanks for the laughs tonight!!

Tiff, my job is not as cool as Mike and Lonnie make it out to be......I work for the Federal Gubment.....as an investigator slash inspector slash 'bean counter'. Sometimes the job is fun....sometimes not.

in today's email:
Went to the doctor for my yearly physical.
The nurse starts with certain basics.
How much do you weigh?' she asks. '135,' I say.
The nurse puts me on the scale.. It turns out my weight is 180.

The nurse asks, 'Your height?' '5 foot 4,' I say.
The nurse checks and sees that I only measure 5'2'.
She then takes my blood pressure and tells me it is very high.

'Of course it's high!' I scream, 'When I came in here I was tall
and slender! Now I'm short and fat!'

She put me on Prozac. What a witch.

ROFLMAO!!!

That's a cool find....funny math there.

cfpackerfan wrote in post #7963621 (external link)
My Grandpa worked at Area 51 for many many years.

Well I was gonna ask....

Guineh wrote in post #7963860 (external link)
So, what did he do, while he was there?

^^that....but you said

cfpackerfan wrote in post #7963868 (external link)
No one knows. He's been retired for years and is still not allowed to talk about it.

^^that....so I will suggest that you tell him to write all his experiences down in a diary....hide it....let you know where it is for when he passes, you can read it and he won't get in trouble for revealing some top secret stuff...about the aliens of course.

sevillafox wrote in post #7964566 (external link)
Ok...here's me....an outtake..
My mom was our wedding photographer.
In hindsight, I wish I had hired one. My pics aren't bad but I see so much beautiful work now.

ROFLMAO!!!!
You have that one in a 20x30 right?

sevillafox wrote in post #7964725 (external link)
EDIT: Yucky story involving the death of a child. Read at your own risk.
Ok, this is really sad.

Terrible news.....what's really sad about the situation is that there is help out there for persons in her situation that she could have sought instead of doing that to her child. *goes to hug sleeping son real tight and gives him a kiss on the forhead*

Good to hear she came it well! Hope she heals quickly.

Okay, I stand corrected. Sadly, you have information that is not readily availbe and/or obvious to the rest of the world. We really don't have the time or resources to investigate every photo that's posted. The presumption has to be they are the property of the poster.

I will certainly make a mental note of the two examples you have cited, and keep my mouth shut forevermore on the subject..
