I'll set up a script to take care of it for us.

Are you going to go? You can seriously mess with folks heads..

You bet I'm going :) These are the kids I grew up with.... I'll know just about everyone there! Will be great fun to reconnect with people I haven't seen in some 20 years!

I've been restoring lots of old photos i've inhereted. Here is one of me and a few friends before I picked up the camera.

And I'm a fan of your stern and intimidating avatar :D

Ooh, you may want to get that looked at. Also, don't share your keyboard with strange people... You never know where they've been.

Before I converted, I was asked to be best man by the son of our next door neighbor. It came up in conversation one day with our priest, and he told me I shouldn't have accepted because it was not a Catholic wedding.

Priests are just like the rest of us, some are really nice, and some are just jerks. This one sounded like he was just a jerk. Sorry for that experience.

FuryMe wrote in post #7964184 (external link)
I am Catholic as well as my wife. We had to take the Churches marriage session thingy with test which I did. The priest we had had the biggest issue that I was never confirmed. And with us being an internet couple he was shocked to see how well we did on our compatibility test (harmless 500 question questioner). I told him all we could do was talk for 6 months so we actually got to know one another 1st. And my wife live 600 miles away at the time, so the priest made me commute 2 times a month for a year.

Wife and I did really well on our compatibility test, too.

Shortly after our wedding tour priest left the priesthood. His sister had been abducted like 10 years before and never found, he started to doubt his faith because of it.

Sad, indeed.

Hope not. Mom's here, so I have to fulfill that role of host.

She just went to bed, so I have a few minutes before the Sandman wallops me to sleep.

Hopefully she doesn't wake up in the middle of the night and dig your heart out with a wooden slotted spoon and feed it to Kona.

I think that applies to "After you turn 30...." now. My knees are shot and my back hurts in a regular cycle of about every 3 months.

Oddly, nothing hurts on me, yet. Ahh... the advantages of being a couch potato. :D

Oooh, new shoes. You know, most people go to the shoe store, and usually don't have their shoes firmly attached to their soles with nails, but hey... you know what they say... whatever floats your boat.

Ok, ok, I know its shoes for the horses.

And I hate to bear bad news, but I share the good news with you, so I guess I should share the bad too.

Samantha was brought back to the shelter today. The elderly woman who adopted her yesterday said that she doesn't have a fenced yard, so she has to take Samantha out on a leash to go potty, and that she is too shy and won't go in front of anyone.

I'm sure that is a workable issue, but understand that it would be hard for an elderly woman to deal with.

It breaks my heart that poor Sam had to go back to the shelter. I'm working on something right now to maybe get her out by Saturday. Keep your fingers crossed.

Aww, that stinks. :( I'm sorry Cat.

I had a great time with the monkeys. We were able to hand feed almost all of the the Danimal yogurt drink things today.

Monkey therapy was wonderful. I got spider monkey kisses from all 5 of them and one of the owl monkeys came over for skritches.

Awww, that sounds great Heather!

short5 wrote in post #7967248 (external link)
Hi Heather, John, Robert.

Speaking of animals farting. horses will point their but at you and let a slow long whoosh of gass out in your direction as a sort of **** you:lol: Also when they are excited and go galloping off they will fart and buck their way across a field. It goes in stride, cloppity cloppity brrrrrt coppity cloppity brrrrrt cloppity cloppity brrrrrt cloppity cloppity brrrrrt cloppity cloppity brrrrrt coppity cloppity brrrrrt cloppity cloppity brrrrrt cloppity cloppity brrrrrt ........

It's a fine smell.
BTW, we have a big polo facility not far from here. I've often thought that would be a wonderful place to go take some pictures.

 And yes, it would be a GREAT place Chief. If you don't like the smell of horses, well.....I can't come out there. LOL, cuz that'll happen anyway.... :-S

Take some advice from your friendly neighborhood fishdood. Hire some local high school kids to move stuff around till your back heals. Aggravating your existing back damage = more damage and more pain. I have lots of personal experience with back problems.

CHIEF I hope you're feeling better today. Do get someone else to move the furniture. Tis true about aggravating what is already causing you fits.

Whilst the temp is only half what it is in India it is lovely and clear and I am enjoying the difference :-)

I had a great flight back, the sky was pretty much without a cloud the whole way and there were some outstanding views from the window. I looked below me as we flew over Afghanistan, and I could not help by wonder how we could be in such a mess over what is a truly beautiful country.

We all need to see the world and ourselves from a different perspective, alas though even with that I'm afraid there will always be those that just don't get it. *sigh*
