Hi guys and gals :)

Hello Harm. I have had to add the Harmandir Sahib to my list of "The Most Amazing Places I Have Ever Visited".

Have you been there?

Good Morning POTN

Someone once told me, "After you turn 65, if nothing is hurting, you're dead."

Good to know I'm not dead.

I'll have to remember that, it will be sneaking up on me in the future. :D

TWO FREAKIN' WEEKS!

Yippee!!!! It will be a blast.

One week until I start my holidays. :D
While totally excited to get away, I have a wee bit of apprehension about leaving my business to run without me for just over 2 weeks, and during a fairly busy time.

I am going to smooch you

Ooooooo, the photo ops will be many, I'm sure. :p

puddlepirate44 wrote in post #7967558 (external link)
I have about twenty more pages to pencil, and J. Bovine will be ready for "inking".

That would make it 450 penciled pages = around 600 total frames when all done.

Looking forward to the series. As much as I completely appreciate your slowing down the pace of strips of posting strips, it sounds like you have still been quite busy on the creative side.

I have to admit to really missing them. :D

Woohoo!!!!
Looking forward to having a fish for dinner. ;)

Back to boring pictures from me for the next few week, I have arrived safely back in the UK

At leat in the UK metering is a cinch, you just have to meter off you perfectly 18% grey clouds. :p

And yes, I have been there a few times :) Wife has never been to India, so perhaps a trip may be on the cards next year :)

Just a comment, no doubt brought on by my semi-delerious drug-induced state.

One of the unfortunate duties we moderators have is the transmogrification of members who post images they don't own. Like so many things, if we don't correct our friends when they do it, we really can't correct ANY member who does it without giving the appearance of being a bit hypocritical.

If you want to post an image that's not your own, please post just a link instead.

Damn. I hate my job sometimes.

I'm sawwy

*kicks dirt*

cfpackerfan wrote in post #7966945 (external link)
And I hate to bear bad news, but I share the good news with you, so I guess I should share the bad too.

Samantha was brought back to the shelter today. :( The elderly woman who adopted her yesterday said that she doesn't have a fenced yard, so she has to take Samantha out on a leash to go potty, and that she is too shy and won't go in front of anyone.

:( I'm sure that is a workable issue, but understand that it would be hard for an elderly woman to deal with.

It breaks my heart that poor Sam had to go back to the shelter. I'm working on something right now to maybe get her out by Saturday. Keep your fingers crossed.

Awww...poor sam.

Tiff, my job is not as cool as Mike and Lonnie make it out to be......I work for the Federal Gubment.....as an investigator slash inspector slash 'bean counter'. Sometimes the job is fun....sometimes not.

Yeah, we all have jobs like that.

ROFLMAO!!!!
You have that one in a 20x30 right?

Not so much.

Terrible news.....what's really sad about the situation is that there is help out there for persons in her situation that she could have sought instead of doing that to her child. *goes to hug sleeping son real tight and gives him a kiss on the forhead*

True that. My boys got snuggled big after that too.

Belmondo wrote in post #7967018 (external link)
Okay, I stand corrected. Sadly, you have information that is not readily availbe and/or obvious to the rest of the world. We really don't have the time or resources to investigate every photo that's posted. The presumption has to be they are the property of the poster.

I will certainly make a mental note of the two examples you have cited, and keep my mouth shut forevermore on the subject..

WOOHOO!!!! I'm off the hook! Thanks Lonnie!

Belmondo wrote in post #7967043 (external link)
Don't count on it, Chris. The kid comes and goes at some pretty strange hours.

*secretly wishes a trip to OR could work.*

thomascanty wrote in post #7967062 (external link)
I can't sleep, either. I was hoping to get an hour or two before I have to go to work, but I couldn't fall asleep... :(

Belmondo wrote in post #7967065 (external link)
That's okay, Lonnie. You can sleep there.

thomascanty wrote in post #7967067 (external link)
Wouldn't be the first time.

ROFLMAO!!

I've been sorely tempted to nap during my prep a time or two.

Eeewww

Smelly Cat, smelly cat what are they feeding you??

That^^^

thomascanty wrote in post #7967101 (external link)
Kitteh isn't the crazy cat she used to be. I think she's growing out of that phase. Now she's becoming a very clingy, affectionate Kitteh. She even started sleeping on the bed with me a couple weeks ago. She never did that before.

Awww.....

monkeygirl wrote in post #7967182 (external link)
I had a great time with the monkeys. We were able to hand feed almost all of the the Danimal yogurt drink things today.

Monkey therapy was wonderful. I got spider monkey kisses from all 5 of them and one of the owl monkeys came over for skritches.

How fun! I'm glad it worked out.

How bad was your shirt?

short5 wrote in post #7967248 (external link)
Hi Heather, John, Robert.

Speaking of animals farting. horses will point their but at you and let a slow long whoosh of gass out in your direction as a sort of **** you:lol: Also when they are excited and go galloping off they will fart and buck their way across a field. It goes in stride, cloppity cloppity brrrrrt coppity cloppity brrrrrt cloppity cloppity brrrrrt cloppity cloppity brrrrrt cloppity cloppity brrrrrt coppity cloppity brrrrrt cloppity cloppity brrrrrt cloppity cloppity brrrrrt ........

Lol....I've totally seen that.

monkeygirl wrote in post #7967280 (external link)
Although, usually, John will wait until I get home and then hint that he is ready for dinner, until I get up and cook.

Yeah, corey pulls that crap too....and he'll never give me ideas of what to cook.

That is why he gets pancakes/waffles a lot. Easy to make, Aidan eats them well, and Ian can eat them now too. I even broke out the big guns last night and made them from scratch.

Belmondo wrote in post #7967395 (external link)
I'm having one of those nights.......

Everything I say sounds like I'm mad about something. It must be the meds.

I'm not mad about anything except the number of pills the doctor gave me. I'll be out by morning.

(((((((Chief)))))))))

True that.

short5 wrote in post #7967446 (external link)
Awwwwww come sit by me. Everyone thinks I am mad too. We are just misunderstood. Popcorn?
[GIFS ARE NOT RENDERED IN QUOTES]

Well, thanks for the explanation.

3Turner wrote in post #7967482 (external link)
Oh hush...you know that's not all you know. I bet the first kitchen Spanish words your learned were "put some extra floor spices on his steak", "that soup needs a huge hocking luigi", "lick the mayo off the bread".....stuff like that.

Eeewwwwww

cfpackerfan wrote in post #7967538 (external link)
Zane, that is a great picture. I love how the players are so full of color, while the background is all washed out.

That^^

I was thinking the same thing...was gonna type it all out...but she said it better.

Probably. I won't be working anymore.....really cuts into my computer time to be at home. lol

3Turner wrote in post #7967588 (external link)
Yeah...we'll rock Eric....we can move it to the 26th iteration by the time the all come back.

We can TRY!!

We all need to see the world and ourselves from a different perspective, alas though even with that I'm afraid there will always be those that just don't get it. *sigh*

True that! Exactly why I wish I could just get the blasted approval to take the kids to costa rica!

G'mae folks! It's a dreary day here. Blah. I had a short night....one of those nights where I dreamt all night so it didn't feel like I slept at all.

I woke up when Aidan moved and I realized that his diaper had leaked all over the bed. Blah.

Ian has a nasty cold but lucked out as the sitter has very few kids today so she has extra time for him. He has a chek-up this afternoon as well. I don't know if he's due for shots....but he won't be getting any.

I hope everyone has a great day!
