Morning folks...getting ready for the concert.

Woke up to a pleasant surprise, another one of my shots sold :D.

Woolburr wrote in post #8009651 (external link)
Not too shabby snakey! I so want to get a lightning shot!

Thanks Dan....shooting through a double pane window due to rain is not good on the quality.

short5 wrote in post #8009675 (external link)
Nice

He gets a handful of real good ones every year down there in Texas land.

Thanks....almost every year....I didn't get a keeper last year. There was not much rain last year. :(

Woolburr wrote in post #8009691 (external link)
I need to go sit on a mountain top if I ever want to get one. All the nice lightning shots seem to come from flatlanders.

The best shots I've seen from flatland areas is Arizona and Nevada desert areas...Nebraska also.

An odd little wildflahr over on RRTP.

Very kewl!

Do they put little gowns and caps on them? The teachers did that with my kiddos classes when they graduated kinder. They were soooo cute!

Thanks....

That I don't know. Guess I'll find out in about 3 to 4 hours after the concert.

But I thought......

Though...of course compression kills the black of the sky.

Very nice Robert, we hardly even get to see lighting, it is always hidden by clouds and rain.

We had an amazing storm last summer while camping. We raced the storm to the top of the mountain for the best view. Amazing light and sound show. The hail that followed was a tad uncomfy  but the storm was great. Makes one feel quite primal.

The last place I'd want to be during a thunderstorm is on a mountaintop! In fact, a lot of the mountains around here have these signs near the summit:

I want a tattoo. Wanted one for a long time. I was even in the chair once.

So, why'd you chicken out?

cfpackerfan wrote in post #8009551 (external link)
Ok, more confession time.

I was in a dance troupe. For one year.

We danced at half time during the JV basketball games.

This is one of the songs we 'marched/danced' to.

I can't hear it without laughing my arse off.

Ewwwww! That's the worst song ever written!!!

Its official. I am tired of rain. Really, really tired of rain. Its deluging again. :(

When I woke this morning there was a strange glow in the sky and they were no longer 18% gray. Is this the end of the world?
