And when he's hungry he hides in the weeds waiting for one of the minnows to swim by. He gets about a minnow a week.

My wife found him on one of her walks far from any water. He was only a little tike back then, maybe 2 inches long or so. So he came home and has been a pet for the last two years. He's much bigger now having molted two, three times.

Drama update 05/29/2009
Forrest has sold the building and propert in which I work to CVS for $1.3M and the deal was closed today.

Now I don't so much believe this in its entirety. I know the plan is to do so but I don't think it happened today.

That would be exceptionally quick unless it was a plan in the works for some time.

Better as a tattoo, but if I'm going to have one of Dan's cartoons permanently etched on my body it will be this one:

I had a TR related dream the other night also. I got a PM from Heather which said something like "I a shot of you and Zane not helping John and just running amok." The shot was taken through some tree branches and leaves...like spy shots...John was in disbelief that Zane and I were being bad jumping all over a plane parked near a hanger. Thing is....all three of us were our TR characters and John had his dive helmet under his arm and 3 ? marks over his head and his free hoof/hand covering his eyes.

Oh, I can so see this in a cartoon...

Yepper, you know someone who can ship it for you if they don't ship directly, but try this link.... http://www.seltzerslebanonbologna.com/ (external link) I should go down and take a few pictures, they really do have the wooden smokehouses, and they smell really nice.

Bookmarked...

If you birthed children, you can SURELY handle a tattoo.

Right. I'll keep that in mind..

I had to chuckle the other day.......saw an article about the Salton Sea Yacht Club. If you know anything about the Salton Sea, you'd see the humor in that.

It actually doesn't look too bad...

Seltzer's was featured on a recent episode of "Dirty Jobs" with Mike Rowe....but even Mike commented that this particular dirty job had the best end result of any that he has done.

Mike Rowe's done two episodes of the show at the SD Maritime Museum. The first time he cleaned the boiler on the steam yach Medea and the second time he got to tar the standing rigging on the Star of India/

NOAA has been hinting at thunderstorms around here for a couple days now, but they're only giving us a 20% chance. That usually means it ain't gonna happen, but the sky is really turning mean looking right now! It was clear, sunny and hot when I got home from work an hour ago. Now it's dark, hot, muggy and the sky is turning black.

I love how the federal agency responsible for predicting the weather is named after a biblical character that was in a great flood...
