Yeah...you'll get it today. When? Who knows. Maybe 7PM, 9PM....or when they feel like it. Heck...it may be updated as "attempted delivery, will return tomorrow"

And that does not count the fact we started as TPBM game until Terri moved us here after we got slapped for chatting. I will also point out the vast majority of those posts were a small group of us getting to know each other. This did not explode into just a random chat room until a few months back.

Well since it's a few months back and I started posting in here about 6 months ago, I guess I'm pre-random.

And, for what it's worth...some of us in the second migration HAVE tried to get to know others.

Very nice! And, I really like the processing on the duck shot you posted.

I can take a hint.

My apologies for whatever part I have played in contributing to the randomness. Goodness knows, I can be pretty random.

Yeah, I can too. Getting old.....

I guess I'm feeling lucky that the thread isn't titled...the 25th random discussion for TPBM....let's see how many times Tiff can piss Zane off this iteration.

no real significance, it is a "Wild Horses" monument just off I-90 near Vantage, WA.

Kinda funny about it exploding into a random chat thingie, I did read up on the history, and looking through things it seemed like it was almost simultaneously that a whole bunch of people new to the thread showed up. I remember the 21st chat thread being slow a few months ago when I first showed up and now I can't even catch up after 6 hours of being away from a computer. I know I contributed to the randomness, but you know, forums happen, they grow, people show up, and things speed up over time. It's a natural progression of any community and was bound to happen eventually. Eventually people start to get to know the newcomers and accept them.

Everything changes. It's the natural progression of life.
Some changes are good, some are not so good. But one thing is for certain, change is almost never 'easy'.

At one time, we all were just a bunch of loners floating about on this forum. We were drawn together a little at a time, because our personalities just clicked with each other.
We played the TPBM game and got to know each other over the years.
Moving to the chat thread along with playing the game gave us the chance to get to know one another even better. We became very good friends, to the point that several of us have met, and I consider many of the people here my dear friends.

And just like in real life... it morphs. That is not necessarily a bad thing, just different. We have had dear friends leave us, and have had some very dear friends join us who weren't there at the beginning. That's ok.

That's what makes this group so special... our ability to adapt, and change. We welcome new people, they hang out with us for awhile, and if they like us, they stay. I think it says a lot that we've had so many newer people join in the last several months.

yes, it takes a little getting used to. Because there are more of us than there used to be, the thread does move faster than it did at one time. But is that really so bad? It's harder to keep up, but if one wants to keep up, a way can be found. (gosh, just putting me on ignore would cut your catch up time in half )

Anyway, I just wanted to say that I love our little corner of POTN, and welcome all those who came late to the party. Have to remind you though.. it's byob, so quit drinking all my wine. :p

Well said Cat!

*brings over a nice bottle of wine for cat*
