Airports (regardless of country) are a royal pain in the butt. Having to be there 3 hours before flight time (for intercontinental flights) the scrum at check-in (bad enough for business and first coach or economy is a nightmare). Suffering at the hands of morose security people (who were unemployed before 9/11) before getting into the lounge.

Once upon a time the travel was as much fun as the destination that is far from true anymore.

Yup, sure was....growing up as a kid, flights were so much fun...now it is not. I've been stuck at many airports...Christmas Eve in Wash Dulles, flying out on christmas day was bad...Or getting delayed in India and missing your connecting flight, that was worse...Then you get to see some really crap airports and terrible employees there...Last thing you want after a several hour flight.
