I lost the Canon Disk that came with my G3. I was wondering if I can download Zoombrowser somewhere. I want to start playing around with the RAW mode, and I need this right?

Yes, Zoombrowser has a RAW converter (at least the version that came with my camera has one). Photoshop Elements 3.0 has one too, and it's a good photo editing tool that I like.

You do not have to have Zoombrowser. You just need the File Viewer Utility installed to convert Raw to other file formats. When ZB converts RAW, it accessed the FVU.

Also consider using the free RAW converter from Pixmantec called RawShooter Essentials (RSE). It supports the G3, is free, and has more features than FVU.

Search this site for "Pixmantec" or "RawShooter" for other users reviews/comments of RSE.
