I've recently been asked to do a few child portraits by friends. These are of Olivia, beautiful little girl and her mum and dad, Helen and Chris.

Would love to know what you all think.

Regards,

Nick

I found it a tad pink/red so I used curves a little (but I am on my laptop so I could be off as well)
Cute baby!

No worries, On my calibrated monitors, your colour looks a little pale and the B&W looks a little blue/green.

What does anyone else think?

Do i need to re-calibrate?

Regards,

Nick

Love the very fist shot, it makes a refreshing change to see the mother in this type of shot, works really well.

I find the photos a bit on the red side too. However I find the poses awesome and you have captured a special moment in every photo. Well done on your captures!! I had a little play with your photos too. I hope that is ok with you.

QUOTED IMAGE

Hi Kimmy

On this shot all the warmth has been lost IMHO.

Although your possibly correct in terms of WB.

I think they look a bit red too. I like Kimmy's versions. I think they look great.

I see what you mean about the warmth. I took the photo back into PS and added a warming filter to it. It could still possibly use a bit more warmth.
