We had rain most of the night, but it cleared mid-morning or so. It was a late start, but got a few.

I'll never understand the lure of taking pictures of birds. Maybe I'll never get it unless I try out for the first time with one of those heavy white lenses. ;)

That Warbler is a real pretty bird. I'm pretty sure if we had those hear I'd be tempted to get a close shot of one of those...

Well it does help to have a telephoto, but sometimes these guys will come right up to you.

To be honest I used to think birding was kinda silly but I've found that the challenge of getting a decent shot of some of these (like the nemesis bird) is quite the challenge and may just be the most challenging type of photography.

Thanks again Bob. Always a challenge to get black or white birds exposed right. :)

Thanks Stan, -- sure we have as many cormorants as egrets. :) I also go a couple of good pelican shots but didn't post them.

Wonderful color and detail on the whole series... really like the cormorant's feather detail, it is beautiful. Nice work Kenny.

These are all great Kenny.....I would love to see a meadowlark, but so far haven't had any luck.

They seem to be everywhere here this year and not as skittish as in the past for some reason.

Thanks!
