Canon 'L' Series Question

Just wondering when you buy a canon 'L' lens if you tell your wife it is an old one so she dosent get mad :D

You can get covers in many different colors. No need for it to look "white" if you don't want.

My gf came with me to buy some of my gear, she just laughs and goes off somewhere to look at games for her Nintendo DS lol (I shop at a local camera shop and Futureshop is next to it)

My missus doesn't even like me buying used.......... so I just claim that the big box through he post was something cheap like a filter or something like that, then laugh at the sender for putting it in such a big box with so much protection 'because its glass'...........
