I have recently noticed specks of dust under the surface of the LCD screen on my 50D, has anyone else ever had this problem and could it be cleaned under the Canon Warranty?

I would argue that it should be fixed by Canon under warranty but I could never be bothered to chase it up. Basically the protective cover you can see and touch is stuck down around the edges with double sided tape. I guess somewhere the sticky bit isn't sticking. It doesn't affect the images and is not very severe. My 40D is now 20 months old and I'm still not really bothered by a few dust specs.

They cleaned it out at no charge for me and I was just over 2-months outside of the 1-year Canon factory warranty. 7D | 17-55 f/2.8 IS | 70-200 f/2.8L IS | 50 f/1.8 IS | 580EX II |
