I'm not sure i'm sold on either of these, so thought i'd post up for some feedback. ;)

1. Full Colour

I prefer the 2nd one as the 2 girls are isolated from the 'busy-ness' of the wall otherwise it looks too busy.

Not so sure what effect or emotion you are going for here, so I'll simply state
that I'm not much a fan of such clustered tags & grafitti.

On another note, I'd really like to know how you acheived selective coloring in these,
and whether the process was quick or involved.

The 2nd shot was my original plan, but i think my problem with it is the composition. I wanted the girls to be in colour, but couldn't decide on the graffiti!?! I really like the brightness of the carrot, but is it just competing with the girls?

Nothing special with the selective colouring, just a layer mask and eraser... Very quick! ;)

Tough choice. If the girls in the shot are the main target, go selective. If they are just part of the scenery, I really like the first one. I know... not much help, am I? =]
