Had great hopes of a monster moonrise in my mind's eye...but sometimes it doesn't quite workout as anticipated. Still, this place is hard to beat. C&C always welcome.

A 200 or 300 zoom on that second shot and it would be killer............... .... Got some cameras; got some glass ..... I just need one more of each.....

Jun 01, 2009 11:33 | #9 Both exposures are single exposures. I'm sorry but your question centers on an on-going struggle that I have as well. The moon is a huge light source and atmospheric conditions play a big role in my experience. I think I would try a split ND filter on next attempt or with brighter moon...I'll yield to the more competent on your question...thanks for the look in and good luck. ...chasing light, now there's a hobby!
