The family and I went to the Martin Nature center in Oklahoma City this morning and just as we finished our hike we came upon some geese with 3 Young gosling's. The gosling's went for a swim amongst the carp and I snapped this shot. Kind of reminds me of Jaws...http://www.imagesbywest.com/photos/539110211_hEAKD-L.jpg (external link)

Great capture. Dare I ask whether he navigated the treacherous waters unscathed?

Yes , He did just fine, just out of the frame was one of his parents that kept pecking at the carp as they swam by. I don't think a carp could consume one anyway but Mom or Dad was not going to let them get a chance! There were 3 gosling's in total and all made it safely back to shore.

Very nice capture. I like the fish swimming behind it. It almost adds a darwinistic spin to the image. The red letters are a little distracting though. Maybe a light brown or white would keep the eyes on the gosling a little bit better. Great shot regardless.

Richard,

You're probably correct of the red signature, just didn't even think of it but usually I do try to make it a complementary color.
