Sigma 50mm f1.4 (bad copy)

Just got his lens the other day and it appears I got one of the problem lenses.

Lens is soft and focus hunts some in low lite. Not happy with it at all...

I was wondering if anybody has had good luck with sending it to Sigma for re-calibration. I don't mine sending it in rather than just exchanging it as long as it will correct it's problems.

Sigma is usually great about fixing focus problems. My 50 came back perfect. Can't comment on whether they fix any "softness" problems. My lens didn't have that problem.

Can you post some pics of it with the exif?
