I love your view you captured there. I visited the falls a few years ago, but only made it to the upper. I wish I had more time to venture out and see the different views of all the falls like you did. Sweet shot.

Thanks for the compliments. Any thoughts on improving these types of B&W conversions?

Wow very nice conversion. I would definitely have that framed in my room if it was my shot. I think you've done a great job with the conversion, not much anybody can really advise here (IMO). I know the left portion is shaded because of the sun's direction, but maybe give that area a tad more contrast. Not much so it won't compete with the rest of the image, but enough to give it a bit more pop maybe?

Or maybe darken it even more and make it contrast even better with the white waterfall and the lighter rocks to the right.

My only thought is that in the pre-digital age, you got a big difference between printing on matt or gloss paper. I just think this in gloss, filling a wall, would be best.

i'd say darken the wall on the left a little. Only because I found myself focusing more on the looking for the detail on that side of the image instead of glaring at the falls. Lovely shot, great composition. And just my little bit of input. Great shot.

Nice shot........

I'm not a fan of B&W in this day and age. Composition and framing are very good.........

I think that B&W is frequently done too dark and much of the detail is missing in the shadows..... I see a bit of that here going back into the canyon....:D

.... Got some cameras; got some glass ..... I just need one more of each.....
