New to photography, and loving it! I have a crab apple tree in my backyard and it is now flowering.

OLDZZY - I see you have photo editing enabled, so I hope you don't mind. Anyway, this is my quick take on editing. I bumped up the brightness and contrast and did a little white-balance nudge in curves. The result is:

I'm still learning a lot on both... the photography side AND the post production side of things. Have you ever heard of a program called The GIMP? If you don't have Photoshop, The GIMP is a free alternative that works pretty well. Once you download The GIMP and play with it for a bit, you'll be learning all sorts of cool tricks to make photos pop!

Have fun with your new-found photography interest. You'll find that it is the most fun, interesting, exciting, frustrating, expensive, but-worth-it-all-in-the-end thing you can do! =]
