So I was shooting a demo reel for one of this girl who is a friend of mine and snapped a few shots. First one is a normal shot, I really like the spray paint on the wall leading to her also matching her outfit with all the curves and the lines from the wall. The second one I tried to saturate the hell out of to bring out that outfit and make it pop out. These were shot with my 50mm on tv @ 1/1000.

I like the idea but 1 and 2 really don't do much for me at all. Then came number 3, I wasn't sure if I had too much to drink or was tripping on something haha. I will say the PP job reallly saved the third one. I am not sure what you could use it for but it is an interesting one in the least.

Love #3 lol, It looks as if she's focused on the people in the background, telling an interesting story.
WIth #1, I think the contrast between Graffiti styles is too great, would be great to see her next to a more full on colourful mural... Maybe desaturated slightly (the mural that is)... hmm....

Nice work!

I really like the second one just clone out the "garbage" on the wall.

#3 works also, very nice.

1 & 2 are WTF?

Respectively, 3 is WTF as well, but made me wanna leap into my neon striped party jumpsuit, drink absinthe, and dance like an idiot for several hours.

So, I guess it worked. I like 3.
The first two, not so much.

That is a wicked cool suit, i want one!!!! On the critique side. No 2.. no. wierd fire hidrant in the background. Face is slightly out of focus and not well lit at all - same goes for 1. No. 3 is definatly WTF. I like that your experimenting but im not a fan of this - "hey it looks cool and if i can back myself up with reasons for doing that then its good sort of jackson pollock (did i spell his name right? =p) attitude". Not that this is a dig at pollock, or his methods, he was brilliant - its just im more a fan of the traditional methods. I guess you can have a dig at me for that because times have defiantly changed. I just think photography should be a methodical process, not one that is "lets just make some buzzy ****". Anyone can make buzzy ****. Sorry this is not a dig at you either stutterbug, im just typing which is concerning. This really belongs in a rant thread =p I hope i havn't offended, i sadly think i have :(
