After assisting a wedding this weekend, I was a little dissapointed when my 550ex wasn't recharging as fast as I would have liked. I charged my batts the night before and hadn't really done alot of shots with them that day for them to be weak. My 430ex could hardly keep up but my 550ex did better.
Anyways the main photog had a battery pack (I'm assuming a CP-E4, but I will ask him). I'd like to get something to provide more juice to my 550ex for situations like shooting outdoors when I need fast fill light. As for the 430ex, I might sell it to my friend and get a 580exII.
Are there any good [cheaper] alternatives to the CP-E4? Or good deals on CP-E4s?
