Certainly the D30 is capable of excellent images worthy of large, high quality prints. You need to uderstand the printing process; books on digital photography will help here. Here is a couple of very short tutorials as a start. Canon 6D, 1DmkII, IR modified 5DII with lots of Canon L, TSE and Zeiss ZE lenses

I have gotten some absolutely gorgeous shots which have blown up beautifully on my Epsn 1270. Detail is remarkable due to the cleanliness of the images.

I wish I could show the prints to you: they are absolutely fantastic - they have some very sophisticated upsampling inbuilt on their printer so no Genuine Fractals or similar were needed. Paper they use is glossy photo paper which has no fade whatsoever (laser technology). They also provide an ICC profile on their web page, which means when you apply it you'll get exactly what you see on your monitor. The Forum Boss, El General Moderator

I hope you can help my wife and I with our current challenge which is B&W and color printing. I won't go into everything that we have tried but I would appreciate anything that you can tell us about the on-line lab that you have discovered. Since we won't be able to use them can you say what technology they use. Hopefully we can find someone comparable over here.
