Great entry Jayce - congrats!

Geno - I'm REALLY intrigued by your entry, would you mind telling us how it was crafted?. Did you shoot the entire thing In-situ, and strip out the foreground colors? I'm quite astonished that you managed to get the people in the foreground so still with a 1.5 sec exposure (unless I'm reading that wrong). Layers and masks for the color separation?

Thanks.

Congrats jayceg! Nice sports shot on getting up (and hopefully over) the bar.

Sorry I missed out on getting a shot in on this challenge. Maybe on this next one.......

It is a multiple exposure taken at about noon on a sunny day. Base layer was the trains so that's where the 1.5 seconds came from. I didn't take the ND filter off for the people so I'm lucky they were standing relatively still for pretty much the whole time for that exposure (it was 1/2 second).

There were quite a few layers in processing mostly because of the sun shining on each side of the roof. I converted the top layer to B&W and erased through to the train layer but wanted to keep a little yellow in the warning line at the edge of the track.

I had the shot in my mind's eye for quite a while and had a half hour one day to pull it off. I paid my fare and caught the train to this specific platform, set up my tripod at one end and managed 16 exposures before my battery died.

Luckily, I had what I needed. :)

Wonderful and thanks. I have to try something like this.
