I took this photo at Perth zoo today. Unfortunately you cant use any kind of flash in the reptile section, so I had to work with the little amount of light that was in there. Unsure what he is, but he was shedding his skin! Comments always welcome!

Nice picture considering its available light only.
I believe that the lizard is a Perentie (Varanus giganteus), one of the worlds largest lizards (and this one seems a little larger than most...a bit overwight :-) ).

I guess they get fed well in the zoo RockOne lol
He really was quite handsome LazyPhotographer. The photo does him no justice, he was much better looking than the photo shows.lol.
