Hi everyone,

I would like some advice or education on a matter concerning radio triggers. I had wanted a radio trigger for an off camera flash system, but i also wanted a radio trigger for a remote shutter release. My question is, can i have both in one product?
I had thought that the pocket wizzard plus II would do the trick, but i am not sure if they will work to remote fire a camera, the reason that i am confused is thanks to a youtube video- not the first time someone has been confused by youtube- so if anyone can clarify this capability point i would be most grateful.
Also, can you recommend accessories- such as wires to connect between camera and trigger if needed.

On a side note this is mainly a trigger/remote question and i didnt know where else to post it, so if it is in the wrong section i am very sorry.

Thanks in advance.

Andrew.

Pocket wizards can do both, they are the industry standard for remotely firing a camera. You do need to buy a motor drive cable for the particular camera that you are firing that are like 75$

You won't get E-TTL with the PocketWizards, but IIRC they come with a PC cord; you'd need to get a hot Shoe-PC adapter to mount on the flash.
