First L is on the way! I decided that the F/4 non-IS was right for me since almost all of my shooting I do is outdoors in decent light and not sports related. :D

Duck photos to come!

I'm pretty sure the next L is the brick! (24 - 70 f/2.8!). :D

Thats my next one also. Should have it in about a month if nothing else goes wrong. The girlfriend doesnt like the idea since I just bought a 70-200 2.8Is though.

Ive had a few L's but have decided to sell them and all my other lenses to downgrade my gear bag and get the best ones for my need. 16-35 2.8, 24-70 2.8, and 70-200 2.8IS

I really miss my f/4L. Unfortunately I couldn't justify keeping it when I bought my D700, so I gave a friend a very good deal.

IQ wise this was one of the best zooms I've owned.

You will love it. It is my first L and I use it all the time. I use it for my daughter's soccer, since she plays in the day time, and I try to keep my shutterspeed above 1600, the lack of IS is not an issue.

Nice pickup and welcome to the club. That was my first "L" also and the brick's older brother was my second "L". Let's see the duck.
