Indigo Bunting

Here are a couple of shots of one of my favorite birds. I sure wish the light was better , I will just have to keep trying. Which pose do you like better?

Lovely bird...had a few chances with them last summer...waiting for their return.

I like the seond one just because the tail isn't cut off by a branch.

#1 is the cats meow to me. They sure are a pretty little bird. Nice capture.

I like them both very fine shots , but #2 would be the one just because you get the whole tail .

Both of these are incredibly good images Chris. The IQ in both is superb. #2 would do it for me.

Don't let these guys get too close to those Scarlet Tanagers or it will be like a matter-anti-matter explosion of color!

We just got a record shot yesterday of our first Indigo sighting of the year here. They don't stay around for us, and we've got very few photos of them... we'd be thrilled with these.

I'd pick #2 also btw.

Two beautiful images!

These are the best I've seen of this bird. The light is perfect!!!! If you had more light, they would be blown out. The color of the bird is rich in this light. I would hang them!!! I like the 2nd one for composition, but the first one has some great feather detail.

The second shot is stunning. I would love to see one of these.
