Brought mine lens from there around 2 month ago. Before I ordered, I specified that I want the lens to be check before sending to me. I lived in Canada. The agent agreed and told me to mention that in the notes when I sent my payment. I than added that note and send my payment. Around a week later I got my lens but the lens is having a terrible focusing problem, hence they did not check. I called in to sigma4less , and mention the problem. I asked the customer agent there regarding if I have to pay for the return shipping since I had requested them to checked before sending. The agent told mention that if there is a problem with the lens, they will refund my return shipping ( Since I had requested a QC before them sending.) I than sent my lens back to them ( roughly $80cnd including insurance). I called again and requested them to please QC again. Another week and half later, I finally received my lens. Not only they send out using just standard shipping in which I paid for express, the focusing is way off. Even worst than the first copy. At this time, I am really upset. Called them regarding the issue and talked to the manager. Manager told me that they will never checked the lens for QC since that is there policy. I told her that her customer agent agrees on that request or else I wouldn't had ordered. After a lengthy agreement, I decided to keep the lens and sent that lens to sigma for calibration. I than requested the credit for the return shipping. And guess what, they refused. She say that there policy stated that customer pays for return shipping. I mention that this is a special case since I had requested a QC check. So it is not my fault if they were too lazy to checked the lens before shipping to me. I had requested them to do so, and especially mention about the back/front focusing. So after another lengthy arguments, she agree to credit me back $20. At this time, I don't care anymore. I just take that offers and hung up since I am about to erupt. I just checked my account ( 10 min ago) , and the $20 credit that was promise had yet to be seen. Around 2-3 weeks since I talked to the manager at sigma4less, so assume that credit will never be process.
Personally I will never order anything from them again. I can never trust their word. They basically lied to me couple times.Their Price of sigma lens is probably one of the cheapest on the net, but personally since this experience I would rather paid a tad more and received better customer service. I should had ordered from BH instead.
