I'm not so sure when it comes to photographing babies. I've read to avoid strobes but this little guy absolutely LOVED the strobes! With each flash, he would giggle more and more! He was an absolute joy to photograph.
Mom & Dad loved them!

I like #3 and 6.... maybe pull back the highlights some...the exposures look a little hot.

Looks like a fun session.

The exposure and WB is off. Pull back the strobes.

As a side note can I ask why on earth is this baby holding a football with Micheal Vick's name?

Thanks Hatch, yes the highlights got blown a bit from the effects. I tried to recover as much of the detail back into the image without losing the effect.

Are you referring to the ones with the effects? Yes the highlights blew a bit once the effect was added however Mom loved them so I kept them on it. The ones without the effects look fine to me as far as exposure and WB though, both were metered.
As far as the football.....I'd have to ask the parents but I'm guessing Dad is a Falcon's fan.

Some of them are definitely a little hot like stated earlier, but you caught some great expressions! I would say watch your framing too. You cut in too close on pretty much all of these, if they order different sized ratios, which is likely, you'll have to come in even more, ya know?

Thanks, swimchic! I appreciate the comments, this is my first year with lights (just got them a in March)so I'm still learning how to use them properly. I'll keep that in mind on the framing as well :D
thanks again!

Ha ha #5 is SO CUTE! The little roll of fat is adorable. They're all great, I'm sure the parents loved them all.

(My 2-year old daughter loves that train hat from #2. :))

That hat was my son's hat from when he was a baby, he is now almost 10 and his head outgrew it a LONG time ago :D I love that hat myself, your daughter has GREAT taste :D
