Well - this is it!!!

I leave tonight for London and then tomorrow from London to Nairobi. Then, from Nairobi to Arusha!!! The adventure begins! I'm excited and feel like a little kid on Christmas eve. Equipment has been checked and re-checked then checked again. We're going to freakin' AFRICA!

W00t!

I certainly will post if I get any internet connectivity.. and pictures - you BET!

how awesome!

What species of animal are you most looking forward to photographing?

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

I'd love to get a shot of a Hippo with the mouth wide open. Others - Cheetah hunting, Lions on a kill.

I think we brought 48 GB combined. Shot JPG.

I shot with the 50D and my wife with the XTi.

1 week of safari photos were about 3000 photos.

Well....you did that HUUUUUGE mistake....and visited Africa:rolleyes:
Now I'm pretty sure that you left your heart and mind behind:lol:
I did this same "mistake" back in 2005 and since then I do keep returning back every single Summer.
I estimate that the first signs of addiction will show up to you in a couple of months:p.....when you are about to start thinking which will be your next african destination!!

Nice shots from Tanzania!

Yeah - I was trying to figure out if I sell my home that I have here... can I make it long enough there to last out my days  I think I'm a bit short still.. Sigh.

I'm already trying to work out a trip down south (Kruger etc) for my next time... Damned continent.

Here are some white headed vultures: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=713265

Cheers!
