Hello everyone! This is my first photo post on this forum. So, I hope you like it.

Unfortunately I don't have a canon yet, so this was taken with my little Kodak EasyShare 6.1 megapixel camera..... I'm giong to be buying a 20D in a month or two. Savin my cash.

Anyway, this photo was taken in my kitchen about 5 ft away from the door to my house. The door has these two small windows on the top of it, and everyday at about 2:00 PM a ray of sunlight shines through each one. So, I put the flower in the path of that ray, and took this picture. It's not edited, the black background is due to the way I shot it.

Hope the pic doesn't come out too small!!!!!

RPLS, that is a beautiful photo, great color. You'll do great with a 20D.

Nice shot. Way to use your eyes! (I don't think you need to replace the camera!) ;-)a

Thank you very much!!!! PhotosGuy, I DEFINATELY have to replace the camera. :-) haha, the thing has no zoom at all. Makes it impossible to get good wildlife shots.
