Do you camouflage your lens

I have never heard of camo tights but I see what you mean the overs do not cover the whole lens. I have had a look and have yet to find a lens cover that I think will do the job.

I'm afraid I gave up with it as I no longer use the 100-400, having got a 300 2.8 which I find much better.

Some great information in this thread!

I bought a 12 foot by 12 foot piece of camo netting and cut it into several smaller pieces for wrapping around the lens, draping over the camera and tripod head, and attaching to my hat to partially conceal my face.

I think that it works as well as anything because it also breaks up the shape of things. However, I frequently spook the birds by not remaining still enough or get impatient. I think that the comments above about behavior that startles animals is very accurate.

BTW, you'll never catch me flitting around in camo tights.

my only disapointment is they don't do camo stockings as I am more of a suspenders man
