First, try to get close to a giant bird, then, just as you're about to take your still shot of the bird peacefully wading in the pond, have the bird take off and ruin your still shot. Then, (while still in single shot focus), start hitting focus lock over and over and snapping the shots off like crazy, hoping for some decent in-flight pics to make up for the lack of still shots.
