landscape mode v foliage mode s5

i usually take my landscape pics on my s5 in landscape mode but after experimenting with foliage mode i now choose both modes and save the best,
the pic below was taken on a dull day .both pics same spot same time,foliage mode really pics up on greens/browns/greys, blues are slightly different

to get that same shot using the in-camera settings:
Program mode
White balance: daylight
Color mode: vivid

and whala. scene modes do make picture taking plenty faster.
