See thread about this monitor here: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=634520

See the deal here http://accessories.us.dell.com …gc=BF&cid=7421&lid=197378 (external link) *AND APPLY THIS COUPON CODE VBGH?K188CBWMC

Courtesy of slickdeals...

*I haven't used this monitor, but seems like a good one to get, and its an IPS panel which is preferable.

I'm in the market for a new monitor. Currently still working on an old CRT Sony Trinitron (but well worth the $50 I paid for it on ebay!). But the CRT is huge (depth, front to back) and it sits out on the very front edge of my desk, right in my face. I'm ready for a flat panel so I can move it back from my face a bit.
Is this dell unit mentioned above as good as my CRT for photos?

Probably... its a good monitor

Read up on panels, etc. if you want a new monitor.

Looks good but since this is through small business won't there be tax everywhere?
