I've got the app and tried it out. I'm planning to use it for up high remotes (ceiling). It seems to work well.

Unless your a pro shooter, I don't see the value of this.

That is why there are 2 versions. A full featured version and one that basically is just a remote release.

Finally AF in live view mode. Link (external link). I haven't used this since I first downloaded it but the 1.1 update will get me to launch it on my iPhone again:

AF during LiveView is one of several new options, among them a burst mode for compatible cameras, and auto-bracketing, mainly useful when composing HDR images. Supported Canon cameras now include the 500D, T1i and Kiss X2, and RAW+JPG combinations are no longer treated as one entity. Other changes include a better horizontal view, a new naming system for images, and the ability to auto-import files into Lightroom. The app's matching server software now automatically checks for updates.

Oh, it's also compatible with Noinks now :rolleyes:
