I'm planning on purchasing a Lastolite Ezybox softbox kit (24" x 24").

I will be using this with either a Canon 580 exII or a Canon 540ez.

I currently have a mobile "strobist" kit, Manfrotto Nano, lumopro lp632, and a couple of umbrellas.

I'm leaning towards a Manfrotto 004B and Manfrotto 026 swivel umbrella adapter for the Ezybox, unless anyone would be kind enough to offer some alternative suggestions.

Hi there

I have the same set up.
I got the ezybox 24, nano lightstand 5001b, and also the manforto 026 swivel. - this one is quality , and will hold the light and the umbrella.
Don;t forget the flash adapter if you buy this model.

I have a qn, what bag did you buy for your strobist kit ?

I have the Impact brand lightstand from B&H and swivel/umbrella/flash heads from FlashZebra.com. Both work well but there's better stuff out there. Depends on how much $$$ you're willing to spend.

I didn't buy a bag for the mobile strobist setup. For now I'll carry it "manually" if necessary.

I like the manfrotto nano 5001b for umbrellas and speedgrids, but feel like I should get something a bit more heavy duty for the Ezybox, which is why I'm considering the Manfrotto 004b

I was also considering a c-stand complete, but I'm kind of lost looking at those, not sure what to really look for.

How are you getting on with the nano? I'm thinking of getting one, but they look so flimsy that i'm a bit wary!?!
