My son was playing on our bed so I grabbed my camera and started taking pictures. He just started laughing and laughing and I got what I think are some great snaps. Here's the one I liked most.

1. I desaturated this a bit to sort of mute the colors a bit. First time I tried a look like this but I kind of like it.

Canon XSi, ISO 400, f/1.8, Canon EF 50 f/1.4, 1/60s

A friend our ours bought our daughter a "Cinderella" dress. She got all dressed up for church and I took a few shots.

2. Curtsying for the camera

Canon XSi, ISO 100, f/6.3, Canon EF 85 f/1.8, 1/125s

3. A moodier, more contemplative look after I told her to ignore the camera.

Canon XSi, ISO 100, f/4.5, Canon EF 85 f/1.8, 1/160s

Good catch. I need a grip so that I can shoot more naturally when I turn the camera sideways.

No. 2 is my favorite. Love the way she positioned her feet. I need to get a few more prime lenses. Great JOB!

That third shot is absolutely spectacular (and #1 is just too cute!).
