I had a very quick play with this (including a particularly shoddy job on the hood - for which I'll blame the fact that I'm on my laptop with no pen/mouse) but I'm afraid it really is way too over-exposed to be salvaged.

G'day Mate, Yep I think it is over blown, But who really knows these days,
What I like is prob very different to someone elses taste, I like the pic and comp,
Beautiful model, Great expression.

A good little tip in photoshop, Underexposed - Duplicate blend mode Screen, Overexposed - Dupicate Blend mode Multiply
I used this twice for your pic, well 1 and a half really the second time was too much so I backed off the opacity a bit.
I also used dodge and burn on grey layer, Orton effect, Skin Smoothing and a few other things I don't know what to call.
Hope this helped a bit now I need a nap.
Cheers Pete

I am assuming that the blow out was done on purpose but I don't really care for it in this shot as I don't like the blown out look when there are too many other elements with detail ie. the bark on the tree the sticks in the background as it leaves your eye's straining to see the detail I think this look works best on simple backgrounds where your eye can be drawn to the only real source of detail the face. But just my opinion.
