Doesn't really matter. Whatever is cheaper.

B&H - all the way. I've bought about 10K worth of stuff from them and NEVER an issue. They have even given me RMAs after the 14 day policy just to save some $s on rebates. Their 'sales' phone presence leaves a lot to be desired but if you know what you want and order online they are the best (IMO). My brother sells high end camera equipment (among other things) for a living and he always directs people to B&H if he can't meet the need. That is saying something because he is putting his company name on the line for that.

I just buy from the store that has it for the cheaper price as they are both great stores.

I buy from both. Prices are usually the same and both usually offer free shipping. I can't honestly say that I think one is better than the other. Both places have always always worked out good for me.
Regards and good shooting.......Mike

I agree with most others. Both are top tier stores and you wont go wrong with either one. YOu could also ad Canoga, Beach, Buydig to the list as well. They too are excellent stores.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

I like B & H, however, they don't take orders on Saturday, so I often order from Adorama. Both are great IMO.

I bought the very same lens from Adorama and have no complaints.

Great choice on the lens... You will love it...

Hi Mark ^ :)

Both places are owned by the same family from what I have heard. Cousins I believe.

I can personally attest to the customer service from Adorama. Amazing. I had a problem with my camera (and my baby was due in a couple of days) and they literally tracked me down and expedited my camera 2 day air with out charging me extra. Helen from Adorama is amazing. I will definitely be buying my gear from them.

To me, they're the same company except BH has more darkroom stuff and Adorama has Adorama Pix.

Oh Yeah, that's the other thing. B&H ships very quickly and the packages are very well packed.

Message from Helen at Adorama Camera

Oh Yeah, that's the other thing. B&H ships very quickly and the packages are very well packed.

We have recently changed our shipping targets, and you should find that orders for in-stock items placed on business days up to 5:00 P.M. are generally shipped the same day (subject to verification, as described below).

However, weekend orders, placed on Fridays after 1:00 P.M. will be processed on Monday.

Some orders might be subject to our verification procedure before we can process the order. For your protection from credit card fraud or identity theft, we may ask you to verify that you're the card owner or that the order and the ship-to information are legitimate. If your order requires verification you will receive an e-mail within one business day to advise you about the situation. You will need to respond promptly to this email to ensure that your order is shipped without further delays.

I hope this helps

Sincerely

Helen Oster
