I've noticed some landscape shots with canon 10-22mm on flickr. Some of the shots are amazingly nice. Have you guys came across them before? I don't know if I am allowed to posts links of their images on here, so I am not going to. I was wondering how does these people get such good shots with the 10-22? Are there types of filters they use to get dramatic colors? Are most of the shots HDR?

I am new to the whole canon 10-22, I purchased one and I would like some information to improve on capturing these amazing shots. But if you guys would go to the flickr page and search "10-22" there are quiet a few examles of what I am talking about.

Thanks in advance! :p

I snapped this single shot with no filter and no PP.

I was pleased, what type of images are you referring to, IIRC I believe posting links to the images are fine.

All three of the images you linked to in post #3 are HDR. The second one says so in the caption beneath it, and both of the others are obvious by their appearance.

I recently bought a 10-22 also, and I've found that it takes a somewhat different "eye" to frame landscapes with it. There are a lot of great photos from the 10-22 in the Lens Sample Photo Archive thread for it here: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=312255 Looking through that thread and studying the photos will give you some great ideas for composition.
