First one I really like as I have never seen my snake catch a mouse by the tail then drag it over to choke it, was perfect timing as I was testing out my new 35-70mm macro lens I bought today.

Second one I was just a second to late to get it into focus but really wish I had been faster on the trigger. Think I was snapping a bunch as he had gotten all wrapped up and my super slow outdated camera told me it was busy.

Wow love that second one, even though the quality isn't there.

suggest you use 'crisp' in Topaz for the second shot, then convert to black and white.

Guessing Topaz is another PP program? If so what would be the equivalent in PS?

Thanks for all the feedback guys! Going to try to set up his tank in a better lit spot maybe outside and and get some cleaner shots.

I presume this shot is in captivity with the mouse being fed live?

I guess so:) One of my friends tried to feed her snake with a rat.... and as the snake wasn't hungry... the rat was let alone for a while.... and in the end the rat started to eat the snake alive... The snake survived ... but poor fellow looked terrible.

I think snakes and mice should be in the wild and not in a cage. I know snakes eat mice but let them do it in thier natural enviroment...just my opinion

OMG! Poor li'l mouse. But the snake appears to be enjoying himself (or herself, I can't tell with snakes). You can probably clean up some of the background noise. This was taken through glass or acrylic, right?

Yea it sure was, I was having a very hard time with the glare on it and had decided I wasn't going to take any pictures. I heard the mouse jumping around in there and decided at the last minute that I might as well snap a few. I would really like to take some more of these out in the open but haven't thought of a good way to do it yet.
