I just thought folks might like to see what this lens is capable of...

Between this lens(with extention tubes) and the 100mm f2.8 Macro, thw wildlife doesn't stand a chance! :lol:

FAR OUT! those are just incredible. I posted the question about just how to take bird pics in the bush and someone just put this as a link. I can totally understand why now. Just awsome. Guess what I have to save for now??????

Outstanding! I love the scale patterns. It wouldn't be that good if your technique wasn't spot on.

2nd pic looks over sharpened to me, as you have the halo effect around the whole of the lizard.

I agree. It looks OK in the original but not on the 100% crop. It was just an exersize to show how good the lens is, not to show how good I am in PS lol
